KBML’s Role in Project Management and Coordination

Karaka Build & Manage Limited (KBML) is a project management and building coordination service. We are not Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs). Our role is to coordinate and manage LBPs and other accredited subcontractors to deliver comprehensive build solutions for our clients.

All subcontractors engaged by KBML, including LBPs, are fully licensed and accredited. These professionals are responsible for their own work and are legally required to sign off on it as per New Zealand law, including the Building Act 2004 and the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Regulations 2006. Each trade professional is solely accountable for the quality and compliance of their work.

KBML facilitates the coordination of these trades but accepts no liability for any work signed off by subcontractors. As required by law, subcontractors assume full responsibility for their performance and compliance with all relevant regulations, ensuring that each aspect of the project meets the required standards.
