Our lead builders have over 20 years of accumulated experience in the building industry. All our lead builders are qualified and Licenced Building Practitioners (LBPs) who sign off their work personally. Karaka Build & Manage has the expertise to handle any project. Whether it's a small renovation or a new construction project, we have the skills and knowledge to get the job done right.
1. Initial Consultation: Our Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) meets you on-site to discuss your project, walk through the job, and define its scope. The LBP identifies the necessary subcontractors for the work and advises the KBML office. He will also advise you whether you need an Architect and Council consent.
2. Subcontractor Coordination: The KBML office selects and coordinates our trusted subcontractors (including electricians, plumbers, and tilers) based on your project's needs. These subcontractors visit the site to assess their specific tasks, scope, costs, and materials required.
3. Quote Preparation: We compile all subcontractor costs, materials, labour, and timelines, and provide you with a detailed quote. This includes a breakdown of individual subcontractor costs, progress timelines, and completion dates.
4. Project Management: We assign an Owners Representative (Project Manager) who oversees your project from start to finish. They work closely with the LBP to ensure everything stays on target. The Owners Representative ensures transparency, handles any challenges, and keeps you informed throughout the process.
